Monitor Coatings have won at the Insider Media Made Awards

On Thursday 17th October, Monitor Coatings | Castolin Eutectic were shortlisted for both the Manufacturing Innovation and the Digital Engineering/Technology categories for the Made in the North East Awards, and are very proud to announce that they won the Manufacturing Innovation Award.

Monitor Coatings (Castolin Eutectic’s UK based subsidiary) strive for excellence, with research and development at the forefront. Monitor Coatings boasts an enviable research and development portfolio, currently leading four Innovate UK collaborative research projects; with a budget close to £2 million.  

It has been a great year for nominations and awards for Monitor Coatings. Having won the Regional Heat for the North East Business Awards back in February for Innovation in Northumberland and Tyneside, and then being put through to the final of the North East Business Awards in May; being Shortlisted for two categories for the Insider Media Made in The North East Awards was a pleasant surprise. On the evening of 17th October, Monitor Coatings were honoured to take home the award for Manufacturing Innovation.
